What is MPI?
MPI is a faith-based non-profit 501c3 organization in Wayne County, that is here to walk-alongside those that have been involved within the Justice System.
Our goal is to provide a safe and stable therapeutic environment for Juveniles/Youth that have unfortunately found themselves involved within the judicial system. Our goal also includes the redirecting of their lives toward a path of purpose and productivity, while simultaneously interrupting the unfortunate existence of the school and community pipeline to prison.

Z Smith Reynolds Foundation
ZSR is a private family foundation that serves the people of North Carolina. It was established in 1936 by the children of RJ and Katharine Smith Reynolds in Winston-Salem as a memorial to their brother Zachary Smith Reynolds. ZSR’s founding charter states its purpose as “the accomplishment of charitable works in the state of North Carolina.”
Almost a century later, ZSR’s mission remains broad: They support people and organizations working to improve the quality of life for all North Carolinians. Since their founding, ZSR has invested nearly $700 million into organizations working to build a more just, inclusive and sustainable North Carolina.
